We as a team are trying to find more ways that students can be involved in our school. An idea that came up was having a day where we can learn how to use a commutation device called Proloquo2go! There are a couple students in our school that use this device and we wanted to learn how to use it so that we can get more involved and help our peers out! We planned a 30 minute session where we learned how to use it! There were about 8 students who wanted to learn from our team and 5 teachers who did. We all picked it up pretty quickly and from that we knew we had to get out in front of our peers and do something, so the next day we sat down at a lunch table and used this device to communicate with each other to see how hard it is to program a button and find what you are looking for! We all learned a lot from this and it was a great way to end off the week!
